Ukraine - Finland - Air Services Agreement


The Finland - Ukraine Air Services Agreement was signed in 1995 and it is in force.

Designation principles

Multiple designation, but each Party may designate only one airline to operate on any single route. A designation may be refused if one Party is not satisfied that substantial ownership and effective control of a designated airline are vested in the Party designating the airline or in its nationals.

Traffic rights for the designated airlines of Finland

Route possibilities: Helsinki - Intermediate points to be specified - Kiev - Any point(s) beyond to be chosen by Finland. Fifth freedom rights may be exercised only if an agreement to that effect is made between the aeronautical authorities.

Capacity regime

Bermuda principles. Traffic programmes shall be submitted for approval.

Tariff regime

Double approval.
