General regulatory oversight


General regulatory oversight also includes drafting aviation regulations, advisory
circulars and various instructions in the field of aerodromes and air navigation services.

The inspectors of the Aerodromes and Air Navigation Services Department participate in various working groups under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Eurocontrol, Joint Aviation
Authorities (JAA), and in Nordic co-operation groups. These working groups contribute to develop and improve flight safety e.g. by drafting regulations and instructions within their own sector.
